Our Mystery Boxes
The Honest Mystery Box sells surprise boxes containing a selection of products. Because the contents are intentionally a mystery, the exact products, brands, categories, colors, or styles included may vary from box to box unless otherwise stated.
Our Merchandise Value Promise
When we advertise a specific merchandise amount, that amount is based on the actual acquisition cost we attribute to the merchandise included in your box — not an inflated manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) or estimated retail value.
For example, if we purchase an item for $15 that normally retails for $30, only $15 counts toward the stated merchandise budget of your box.
Shipping, taxes, packaging, payment-processing costs, and other business expenses do not count toward the stated merchandise amount.
The Honest Receipt
We may provide customers with an Honest Receipt showing how the merchandise value of their box was calculated. The Honest Receipt is intended to provide transparency into the acquisition amounts counted toward the merchandise in that specific box. Retail prices may differ by retailer, location, promotion, or time.
Custom Mystery Boxes
Custom Mystery Boxes are curated using the information and preferences provided by the customer. We will use reasonable efforts to consider those preferences, but submitting preferences does not guarantee that any particular product, brand, category, color, or item will be included unless we expressly agree otherwise.
Orders and Payment
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable shipping charges and taxes may be added at checkout. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing or inventory errors, or circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order. If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable payment will be refunded.
Shipping and Returns
Shipping, delivery, returns, damaged items, and refunds are governed by our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy.
Product Availability
Products included in our Mystery Boxes depend on availability and may change at any time. Images used on our website may be illustrative and do not guarantee that the pictured products will be included in a Mystery Box unless specifically stated.
